not yet. should come soon i guess.

anyone else find out?

i got the info packet today. pretty standard stuff. about arrival and housing and rules and stuff. it seems strict but a kid from my school who went there said its actually pretty laid back.

i got an email about my financial aid; they awarded me $4800, leaving $400 to pay. i'm still struggling to decide between washington univ in st louis and this; although i want upenn a bit more. what do you suggest?

Well.. they gave you a bunch of aid... it's going to be very cheap for you... maybe your parents might influence in your decision.

LBW is a great opportunity not everyone has; I don't know what's the other program about, but I personally think that if you got accepted to LBW and with that much aid... you should definetely attend!

I would definetly go with that much aid. I only got a $1000 which makes me hesitate about if I still want to go or not. What do you guys think? Is LBW worth for $4200 in tuition, plus about $500 in spending money and about $800 in airfare? It's a bit hefty for just 4 weeks when I could be doing something like an internship though I suppose I could afford it.

Did LBW offer a waitlist?

yes they do have a waitlist. I am waitlisted. I hope you guys do whtever is best for you, but hopefully I'll be able to go if some people don't go

i certainly am going. anyone got any news from the waitlist or anyone definitely going?

wow whoever started collegeconfidential is a genius! i've been sending private messages to people... good job, steph. i really really want to start talking to people who are attending LBW this summer.

I'm going.

So far is it:
Me
DeusExMachina

who are going? Anyone else?

Nice, we make up more that 10% = )

has anyone else read last year's itinerary?

atlantic city
dorney park
wall street

... just to name a few trips.
my brain is about to IMPLODE from the excitement.

Jaja... mine too!!! Im so excited... cclark (or something like that) is also going. She's from Korea; we talked through private mssgs.

How will you guys do it with the luggages? By taking linens, and clothes and business suits, I think I'm going to need two.

On the gral. info document, it says that there's an additional fee for overseas students to rent all linens. Do you know what's the additional fee? I already asked them and they haven't answered yet.

only TWO luggages??? i'm gonna fill up my mom's acura mdx (suv) until there's barely space for me to MOVE. =) then again, you're a guy, and girls usually pack a lot lot lot more things. how much do you think it'll cost to get our clothes washed?

Well... the thing is that one can't carry more than two luggages on airplanes. That's what I know I'm gonna check...

when we received the information packages, there was one page where we could request a roommate... is anyone doing that with a friend who's also going? isn't it highly unlikely that we'll be tight with anyone else who's going?

i think it says so because that's the standard form for all Julian Krinsky's programs.

does anyone know anything about the gym at upenn? my mom julian krinsky and they said it was something ridiculous like $20 a day. I'm gonna call Upenn and see if there's a discount or something since we're technically students.

Does anyone play tennis? We could play tennis if the gym is ridiculously priced. Hee. I thought we got access to all Penn facilities.

You know how it says that you have to have someone to sign you out. Does that mean your parents actually have to go to Penn and sign a piece of paper to let you out? Arghh... very inconvenient... maybe my parents have a friend living over there.
