Leadership in the Business World

myspace anyone? If yes, pm me your url and I'll start a group...

jason toff already had sent the invitation for an msn group.

I was wrong about the signing out thing- your parents don't need to sign you out.
I didn't get an invitation, but then I don't have msn. Maybe I'll go and get one.

i wonder why he started an msn group. dont most people have AIM?

I think stassi from bulgaria suggested it to jason... msn is mostly an international thing. I like aim better - we could actually have a chatroom!

To those who claim that SATs are the most important factor... when I applied I got 1800... and still got accepted to LBW... Right now I have a 2000 score, and hope to increase it next October. Im affraid though, how's it gonna be during the ED process.

I think it's a combination of everything; I recommend everyone to read Michelle Hernandes' "A is for Admission", it'll answer every doubt you have regarding the process.

hey so if anyone wants to talk on AOL or like do a chatroom, we could all post our screennames:

mines amoo9999

You guys should join the MSN group. I didn't have an MSN but I got one yesterday and joined the group. PM me if you'd like the URL.

My AIM is pinkpigs567 so you can IM me too.

have a question guys. For the list of clothes to bring, anyone know the difference between business suit and business causal?

yeah i was wondering the same thing. and also do we really need to bring 2 suits? ive only got one

Here's what it says on MSN: "Business casual is just nice slacks + a button down shirt (tie optional). Business formal is a full suit. Does that clear things up?"

"I am planning on bringing black pants, a couple of knee length (non-denim) skirts and a few short sleve/elbow length button down shirts. At Wharton, they always say as a guideline - "imagine what you would wear to meet your boyfriend's parents". Remember that it will be hot outside, but there's a good chance we'll be inside being blasted by AC, so layering is also a good method. "

redvines, can you please post the URL for the MSN group?

it's http://groups.msn.com/lbw2006

Wow I am so happy I found this...

I must admit I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this program but after reading what you guys have been discussing I'm now infinitely happy.

Also, I still have to buy tons of new clothes for this. Argh, business attire...

the msn group kinda died out too... I think people are starting to realize that by the time july 2nd rolls around, we're not going to be able to match usernames with faces

Well... there's the option to post your picture on Images... Several people have done that... but I don't know... I think it's better to wait till July 2!

I agree, it's more fun that way. :)

i couldn't quite get one point: we're allowed to go out of campus on our own, right? or do we need a special permission?

i think we can go as long as we go in a group. Going out alone is what I think they don't allow.

HEY everyone! I'm a new member here, because I recently found this site.

I got accepted into LBW a while ago, the letter that I received was dated February 28th, but because I live in Beijing, I got the letter around mid-March.

So here's a little about myself:
My name is Tiffany Chin. chiffanytin is just a spoonerism. it's the coolest sounding one ever. (= I am a rising senior at the International School of Beijing. Some of my hobbies include tennis, softball, playing the clarinet (Bb and bass) and saxophone (soprano, alto and bari) and Model UN. I love having fun, and i'm REALLY excited about this camp, i really am.

and about the admissions proccess? i think that it is an "everything" deal. I mean, my psats are pretty good, but when it comes to my SATs, i could definately do better. My grades are okay, but i think the reason that i got in was basically what i do oustide of school. but heck, what do i know. two other people at my school (that i know of) also applied. One got rejected, and the other got waitlisted, and then accepted. we all sorta have the same profiles - one of them doesn't do music, and one of them doesn't do sports.

anyway my msn is oreo815@hotmail.com. email or message me if you wanna talk!
