<p>Are leadership positions that important????? are they worth it???? or are grades more important ?</p>
<p>Ideally you'd have good grades AND leadership. I think leadership positions are supposed to a compliment to strong academic performance. At least one leadership position is important because it shows that not only do you give back to the community/have other interests, people also think you are qualified enough to help others do the same. In short, it's worth it.</p>
