<p>How important are leadership positions for colleges? I have the GPA and my ACT/SAT scores are fine but the clubs i'm in are usually chosen by the current president which makes it out to be a popularity contest and not really the best candidate being chosen. And if i don't have a leadership position in a club like Book Club is it even worth listing or will it look bad?</p>
