i wanna know which school within cornell is the least stressful.
(human ecology, CALS, Enginnering or A&S)
the reason being, I dont want to overstress ny self with work for pre med

Definitely not A&S or Engineering.

how is human ecology?

I know this kid who gets A+s in his PAM classes, but gets Cs/Bs in joke A&S classes (Psych 101, DSOC 101, etc).

I really don’t respect human ecology. I just can’t.

lol aw^
do you think it would be a wise decision to go to human ecology instead of engineering for pre med?

Personally, I would never do engineering if I didn’t expect a career in engineering. Too much waste of work.

Difficulty depends on major, not school.

I never found Cornell premed to be particularly stressful. A good challenge, perhaps.

It’s stressful for all the people who want to be doctors yet are strangely lacking in science prowess. And I’ve found many such people…

is the workload at human ecology ALOT easier than in engineering?

Generally, yes. Especially if you do engineering physics and ECE. If you don’t love it you’re going to hate yourself for doing it.

As a side note, the dumbest people I know in Cornell (actually, the dumbest people I know, period) are in Hum Ec. Not a fair way to characterize the program… but that’s just my personal experience.

whats the average grades at human ecology and engineering?
do both schools have a good number of students going to medical school?

as a would-be PAM major this fall, I find this insulting.

ILR students are always ragged upon for being in an “easy” major…

I dont know how true this is…but majors like ILR are as easy or as difficult as you want them…

you do this by taking challenging courses and/or taking tough professors…

whats the average grades at human ecology and engineering?

At least you won’t spend day in and day out in the computer lab, like me.

They wouldn’t make it in med school anyway where we learned half of BioBM 331 in a short 4-day week. I consider it humane for Cornell to put these people out of their misery before they get to their junior years.

^^^ which school in cornell are you in?

Me? I was a bio major in CAS. I’m in medical school now.

can’t really judge a school by 1 major. pam is an easy major, theres also nutrition and HBHS and bio/society which are fine majors and aren’t teh easiest imo. arts have plenty of easy majors too.

Isn’t the Hotel School generally considered the easiest?
