Wow dudes, I was just looking at the Or game thread, and I didn’t know we had so many left-handed people. Wasn’t there some study saying left handed people are more creative/artsy? Isn’t this really weird that we’re all applying to Brown? lol.

No, it just proves that we're extra-special :)

i'm just a junior, but POWER :p to the LEFT-HANDERS!!!!!! Ironically, I'm not artsy at all! But I am creative!

I'm not really artistic either, unless you count doodling incessantly in my agenda book or my notes for Latin or calc (really, I just get bored and have a super set of markers to compensate). It would be interesting to find out if a higher percentage of Brown students are left-handed in comparison to other schools, but something tells me that the difference would probably be negligible. Still, lefties are awesome. :)

haha, I get so bored in AP bio, I write lyrics on my calc text.

Brown should have a left-handed club!

lol and what do they do during the meetings? Write notes to each other? BUT ONLY WITH YOUR LEFT HAND. DUN DUN DUN!!

Maybe they could have a left-handed a capella group or something. Heck, they've got every other kind of a capella group under the sun!

Ha, I'm actually pretty surprised they don't already have a club for lefties. Or how about an intermural softball team where eveybody's left-handed? ;)

they could sponsor a school to give support to left-handers so they can develop their gifts properly :)

lol the funny thing is, I'm sorta mixed. For dextrous actions, I use my left hand aka writing, chopsticks, ping pong. But for strong stuff: throwing something, etc. I use my right. =x

Most of my teachers were pretty supportive of me being left-handed; my mother and her mother were not as fortunate, so even if I had run into any difficulty they would have straightened those teachers right out (er, or is that left out?). Sometimes I get flak from teachers who don't appreciate how I shift my body during tests so that I can write more comfortably, but for the most part it's not a big deal.

I use my right hand for the mouse (that way I can write at the same time), opening my locker, and to play tennis. Everything else, including catching for softball, is done left-handed. I can however, write more legibly with my right hand than my brother, who is naturally right-handed. I guess we're just multi-talented!

Besides, we always pull the stat that we're probably two or three times more likely than them to end up in a mental institution or Mensa... take your pick. ;) There are scholarships for lefties though, I always thought it would be interesting to get one of those. I missed being born on International Left-Hander's Day by one day though! Oh well.

I can write with my right hand, but it's pretty ugly. I can also play badminton with my right hand, but only if I feel like losing.

I use my right leg, but my left hand for small motor skills and my right for large motor skills (aka I can't write, or paint or sketch with right, but throwing, I can and do) Am I dextrous?

I can write with my right, but it takes longer. I play all sports with my right, ahaha

it's so cute how were a community of left-handers

yeah, I also have no life, so I'm checking every few seconds to dominate this board. hahahahahahaha

Oh I am the dominating force here! muahahahahahaha. My left-hand wields all the authority of this board.

har har har, I'm listening to TLC - No Scrubs HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I hope Brown doesn't think I'm a scrub. Although I think I'm a scrub or a "busta"

playas they gonna play, hatas they gonna hate, but that ain't gooot nothing to do with me and you, cause that's the way it is.....
