I was just accepted to SFSU for fall 2018 as a transfer, but when reviewing my application I forgot about one small thing.
My first year out of high school, I went to a out-of-state CC and took a one credit class that was about creating an education plan, getting familiar with campus resources, meeting your advisor, etc. I received a passing grade in the class, however didn’t put it on my application because I didn’t fall under any of the categories listed, such as math or english.
Is it going to be an issue when they receive my official transcripts and see that I didn’t list the class on my application? Would it be means to rescind my application? Again, it was a one-credit class that I received a passing grade in.
@NCalRent You really think so? It was a one-credit,“Pass/No Pass” class that was basically about getting to know the campus and it’s resources at that particular school, which was out-of-state. I received a “P” in the class, so it has no impact on my overall GPA. Not to mention it is not transferable, and has literally nothing to do with any type of CSU requirements.
it may - the rules are pretty specific about reporting ALL classes at ALL colleges. It doesn’t sound like you did that and one might surmise you are trying to hide something. I agree, it is a pretty trivial transgression but. I’d call today and and correct the oversight. It shouldn’t be a big deal but, there is a chance having SF discover it could up-end your admission. Why risk that?
