Legacy and College Admission

I attended Washington University in St. Louis. How much of a legacy boost do they give to children of alumni? Are there some schools that give more preference than others?

WashU reported in their Common Data Set that an applicant being related to an alum is “Considered” in the application process. Each piece of the application is weighted as: Very Important, Important, Considered, and Not Considered.

Other factors with a Considered weighting: interview, level of demonstrated interest, first gen student, geographic residence, and ethnicity.

I’m not aware of a school that weights Relationship with Alumnus higher than Considered.

Thank you! That is what I thought but couldn’t find any specific information.
