LEGACY Boost?

So my father graduated from Lehigh in the late 70's, and I applied this year for the Fall of 11. At the info session, lehigh said they like legacies, but how much of a boost will this legacy give me? I feel that I'm definitely qualified for Lehigh, but will this pretty much guarantee my acceptance? Any feedback would be appreciated.

bump please

Showing interest is good.

Having a legacy is very good.

My best friend is a triple legacy or something like that: Mom, Dad, and older brother all went to Lehigh. He was a little less qualified than I’d say the average Lehigh student may be. He still got in.

I can’t tell you how much of a boost it will be, as I am not an admissions officer, but I would hazard to say that you have a very good chance.

what if by chance i have a 2170 sat and a 4.6 gpa, plus the legacy. How are my chances looking?

You should be fine. I wouldn’t worry. Lehigh is an amazing choice by the way! Great fun…
