Hi everyone,

My father attended Stanford and so did my cousin. I scored a 2350 on the SAT.

My question is, does being a legacy at Stanford help a lot? I know at some universities it helps a lot more than others.

Any answers are really appreciated :)

From what I heard, you have a huge advantage over those who do not have legacy chances.

it is not a huge help at stanford unless you are a part of one of the big donor families, e.g. Arillaga, etc., which would help a LOT. from what i have heard from legacies and seen on CC, legacy status hasnt helped that much recently.

But wouldn’t the score of 2350 get accepted regardless of legacy? What SATs and ACTs do you have to have to get into Stanford?
