<p>I noticed that too…Harvard does the same thing. I asked me dad about it (who went to Harvard) and he said he figures they track that kind of thing on their own. But hes not really an expert so your guess is as good as mine!</p>
<p>I think it’s enough that you list where your parents went to college on your commonapp. If it’s a grandparent, then you might have wanted to indicate that in the additional information section.</p>
