<p>My brother attends UMD so i was just wondering how much a factor, if any, will it play in my admission.</p>

<p>Also, where do I indicate it? On part 1 of the application it only asked whether or not a parent attended but there was no option for a sibling.</p>

<p>that's because "legacy" refers to a parent who attended, not a sibling. it probably wouldn't weigh into your admission at all, but if your brother's doing great things here then slip his name into your essays somewhere</p>
