Legacy Worth???

Hey everyone,
What do you think a legacy status is worth when applying early to a school like Stanford? I know similar questions have been asked before, but would you think that it would be worth about the same as being the leader of a club? Would legacy be the same as like hypothetically adding another sport onto your list of extracuriculars?

If you could draw a comparison, what would it be?

I don't really know about Stanford,
but I heard Princeton praticularly gives a lot of weight to legacy....
People who have legacy, their chances turn from 12% to 20%

I guess it would help.. but I'm wondering the same for MIT (since I applied there early...)
