Is anyone here declaring themselves as a legal studies major @ CAL, UCSB or UCSC for Fall 06'? I was just wondering since this sounds like just the major for me! Unfortunately, I highly doubt that I'll hold up against the competition of other applicants of CAL seeing as I only have a 3.7GPA. I'll probably end up going to UCSB. The biggest gripe I have with this is I came all the way up to SMC from Orange County so as to raise my chances of being accepted by UCLA. I wish UCLA offered a similar major but unfortunately they don't. It looks like I won't have to stress over my acceptance when application decisions are due. And yes, I'm aware that it's 3a.m. ;P. I've been stressing over my UC personal essays all day!

why don't u check ur email?

highschoolda, I never got anything from you and believe me I check my email 24/7. Which email did you send it to? btamada@hotmail.com or btamada@gmail.com? Why don't I just give you my phone number. I'll send you an email right now...

are you planning on going to law school nikkei?

guitarshark85, yes those are my future plans. To my knowledge I heard that this particular major also attracts a broad range of employers as well ranging from business to law.

i posted about this major a long time ago and no one responded, anyway im pretty much the same as you 3.7, i wanted to see some stats on the ave GPA accepted as this major for berekely, but they only have percentages 33% i think.

does anyone know if they count the fall grades toward the GPA?
