<p>So I'm 95% sure I'm attending UD next fall.</p>
<p>What are the strictly freshman dorms? I want a dorm that is just for freshman and is doubles.</p>
<p>So far I'm thinking its Harrington, Dickinson, and I can't recall any else. Does anyone know any more dorms?</p>

<p>I don’t know whether they will continue to offer freshman-only dorms again this year, but last year you were assigned based on some “FYE” groupings. </p>
<p>I hear that starting THIS year, however, incoming freshmen can not only choose their dorms, but also their roommates! (not sure to what extent, or the exact process)… </p>
<p>BUT… I have to ask why you want a freshman-only dorm? There are a lot of advantages to having a mixed dorm. Some of my favorite experiences freshman year were with upper-classmen. PLUS you can often find ones who are great mentors & know the ins & outs of the school, etc.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t limit yourself to just a freshman dorm. maybe make sure you have a freshman roommate?</p>

<p>(P.S. I believe Dickinson was predominantly freshmen this past year. maybe it rotates, as some have asked to stay, which means no longer just freshmen-only next year? maybe they rotate each year? Check with the University & “Housing” to find out for sure. )</p>
