I'm going for a Lehigh interview and would like to know what to expect. Can anyone tell me if they had one and how long it took, what kind of questions were asked, and maybe what to wear?
thank you so much in advance =]

I am confused about the interview that you mention in your post. According to Lehigh's website, they state in bold print that an interview is not needed. In fact, it is only recommended if you feel more comfortable talking "one on one" with someone. They will not cover anything different than what they cover in one of the General Information Sessions. They encourage you to do ONE, but not both. Can you clarify as to WHY you are doing an interview. If there is something I am missing, please let me know. I am going to be visiting the school soon and coming a very long distance. If I need to make this happen, I would appreciate your advice.
Thanks!

Although not required, an interview demonstrates interest in Lehigh, which is an extremely important factor to Lehigh.

I'm basically going on an interview because I prefer talking one on one with people who know a lot about the school. It's definitely not something you HAVE to do, from what I hear going to an information session is the exact same. I recently spoke to an admissions representative, and he STRESSED that interviews do not at all help or hurt your chances at getting in, but they are basically another way for students to inquire about Lehigh. Also, if you are applying regular decision, the interview is completely up to you. Right now, I am contemplating applying early decision, and before I enter into a binding agreement with Lehigh, I want to make sure I'm making the right choice. So basically you don't have to worry about doing an interview at all , it's just a matter of how you would prefer to learn about the school.

from what i hear, lehigh interviews are more informative than evaluative, so it's not too much to worry about! unfortunately that's all i know! good luck!:)

thanks pearlgirl!!!! =]

Is the interview of Lehigh University selective?

So, so smart. Lehigh will really appreciate your seriousness about it being a binding agreement. Since Lehigh has so many applicants, my opinion is, they like to choose students who will be happy at Lehigh.
We too live very far away. I know someone from the Philadelphia area. When we were interested in Lehigh I asked her about the school. She didn’t know much about the school but was amazed with how much any Lehigh student they ever encountered LOVED Lehigh. The alumni too. It truly is a magical place.
