Check it out!
Sounds great. Lehigh needed to do something to make itself more affordable in these times. I’m assuming this is part of the new 250 million initiative that was recently announced…money well spent. The “bold actions” another commenter wisely called for.
Lehigh has an awful lot to recommend it. I’m grateful for the education it provided me, both in and out of class. Plus, I just flat out liked that beauty of a campus and the quirky surrounding town…South Bethlehem is very rapidly leaving the immediate post Steel era behind and becoming kind of arts centered.
Lehigh is definitely worth a strong look…check to see if it has what you want academically and socially and, most importantly, if you think you would fit in. Do the homework.
Hopefully, this new program will make affordability less of a question mark.
Does applying for financial aid hurt acceptance chances for ED1?
It certainly doesn’t help!
It wouldn’t hurt because by applying ED1 you are basically stating that no matter what finanical aid you recieve you will still attend. Of course it’s not going to “help” but it will not alter your final decision.
I just saw that Lehigh has need-blind admissions. With the new commitment to meet 100% of need, that must apply to ED admits also, right?
