I was accepted into the BA/DMD 7 year bio dental program with UPenn but I don't know whether I should go to Lehigh or Villanova for the first three years...
help??

probably majoring in biology btw

Lehigh is the more academic of the two colleges, particularly in the science/engineerig areas. In addition, Lehigh is just about the right size, 4,800 undergraduates, with Villanova having about 50% more students.

Opinions on lehigh vs villanova business school accounting major which would have better job options, which school is more recognized academically, VU is ranked no 7 lehigh no 24. Need to choose I got into both. Got a very small amount of aid from lehigh, a little but more from VU. So the money isn’t helping my decision. Also think i would prefer corporate accounting vs public. Any insights appreciated.

I suggest visiting both campuses again to see where you feel the strongest connection. You only get to do undergraduate life once, and with your guarantee (more or less) to attend UPenn dental school, you should go to the college environment you like best.

I don’t know Villanova well except by reputation, but I do know that Lehigh has an exceptionally strong campus community, something the students feel a part of even after they graduate. Academically, I’ve always given Lehigh the edge, although they are close enough for that not to make a big difference.

The basic difference between the two is the kind of institution they are: Lehigh is a private, unaffiliated university. Villanova is a private Catholic university.

My son was in a similar position this time last year. Both enjoy great academic reputations. I urge you, however, to revisit both campuses. Going to accepted students’ day at Lehigh & Villanova was like night & day. Another consideration is the locations of both campuses.
