Lehigh Transfer Chances

<p>Hello Everyone!</p>

<p>I was wondering if I could get some opinions from you all about my chances of transferring from East Stroudsburg University to Lehigh. I graduated HS in 2005 and applied fall 2004 ED to Lehigh and was rejected. I took two years off from school and worked then began ESU in the fall of 2007. I plan on transferring for the Fall 2008.</p>

<p>HS Stats:</p>

<p>GPA: 85%
SAT: 1200
EC's: Varsity Wrestling 9-12, Key Club 10-12
Top 25%</p>

<p>College Stats:
GPA: 3.8
EC's: Co-Founder and Treasurer of Orthodox Christian Fellowship on the ESU campus, helped org. become recognized nationally
Rec's: Can get excellent recs from my english/writing professor as well as my History professor (intended major)
Most liberal arts courses as well as an advanced composition course</p>

<p>So, I transferred to Lehigh in Fall 06. It's not that hard, but it's still a crap shoot depending the day of the week. They have pretty solid transfer rate numbers.</p>

<p>Prior to my acceptance, I had a 3.255 in college, but I was a varsity athlete on the equestrian team (I know, random) at my previous college. I had done a lot in high school and while I didn't have the best SATs (1220) or grades in HS, I think my recommendations and essay stood out.</p>
