Lehigh University

Can anyone tell me about it?

I was originally interested, but told not to go unless I was planning to be an engineer or something like that.

I'm relatively sure that I want to study political science.

I'd appreciate any input =]

Try asking on the Lehigh forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/lehigh-university/

oh, didn’t know there was one! thanks.

Very good Environmental Science/Earth Sciences program.

What about poli sci?

While Lehigh originally established itself as a world-class engineering school, its liberal arts and other science offerings are also commendable.

For example, take a look at the innovative [South Mountain College](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/lehigh-university/464094-south-mountain-college-youtube-video-interview-w-prof-mattern.html?highlight=south+mountain+college) program specifically designed for cross-disciplinary studies.

At its current size, Lehigh is still able to deliver all the benefits of a liberal arts college (outstanding undergrad experience, low teacher/student ratio, high student-teacher interaction in and out of the classroom) but with the resources of a research instititution…a well balanced/hybrid approach.
