<p>ok for the why penn essay the limit is 1 page. however, what is the MAX you can actually go to cause mine at the moment is almost 2 sides (with 11 font calibri). i was just wondering if 1.5 sides is ok? pls help.</p>

<p>Honestly, I don’t think it should be half a page over. The admissions counselors have a lot to go through, and if it was me, I’d just be ****ed off if I saw somebody write 1/2 a page more than it should be.</p>
<p>You don’t want the admissions people angry (I would assume).</p>
<p>The limit is one page, that’s it. It’s like how if some universities ask for around 500 words, you could maybe go 550 or max 600. But if they say respond in less than 500 words or limit 500 words then you have to stay less than or equal to the limit. One page is a solid limit.</p>
<p>I hesitate to give a hard-and-fast rule about this, but I wouldn’t go over 750 words.</p>
