I’m reading a lot of these replies 2 - 4 years later but you are correct in that I did not have any negative undertones in the question. I really just wanted the data, just like how someone might ask for admissions stats like GPA or SAT. Btw when it comes to things like sexual orientation and drinking habits, you can’t really expect the data to be 100% “accurate” but it’s nice to get an estimated figure which is apparently 10 to 15% for gay students at Smith.
My sister has since graduated from Smith ( I went to a public school ) and I have never inquired about her sexual orientation.
