Is it necessary to include extracurriculars which really don't reflect any real passion? To me, it seems unecessary to write down clubs in which I have only been a member.

Rather, I have one extracurricular which consumes the majority of my time, the position as Governor in one of the districts of the largest high school community service organization in the world. The position entails travel almost every weekend as well as administrative duties.

Is this enough?

it is good to list your ECs, but if they aren't your passions (or they're just "fluff"), then it's not necessarily good to add them.. maybe put a couple of them in your app, but the one you listed is a big EC.. that'll definitely catch their attention when they hit your application

Jsa jsa jsa jsa jsa!?

(ps. i would definitely try to put as much as you can on your application... unless you have some major awards or something. I know tons of kids who have had positions similar to yours who have gotten rejected at both top and mid-tier schools).

Nope.

Key Club. Governor of Two States, almost 15000 members. I have a district board of 40 members and help organize conventions, board meetings, community service projects, budgets, etc.
