Let me chance YOU!!

Just leave your stats, or a link

in the mean time, I'd appreciate your opinions.

White

Male

I've lived all over the US, and also 3 years in Germany. I went to German school there, instead of the an American school provided by the military, and now speak German fluently, obviously.

I have about a 95 UW average, around 101 weighted.
Ranked 30/314

will have taken 6 APs and a college course. There are only 9 AP courses offered at my school.

My SATs:
CR: 650
M: 660
W: 730

German with listening: 730 (I didn't study or anything, but I'm fluent? not sure how I did so poorly.)

US History: 540 :(

Let's not talk about the ACT...

I'm a league all-star in swimming (doesn't really mean much), I'm also captain and MVP.
I play soccer.
Interned with the local judge who is a Yale and UVA graduate, will probably have a letter of recommendation from him.
I'm a paid court translator.
I'm a lifeguard, so I'm certified for CPR etc.

I will not apply for aid.

Okay, so here are my schools.

Boston University-ED

Boston College

Georgetown

American

UVA

Hey!

Well I’m thinking that you should have pretty good shots and BC and BU. American might be a reach and UVA and Georgetown are very hard to get into so those might be a stretch. You’re GPA is very good and your SATs are also good! The only thing that stands out for me(and I could be totally wrong about this) is that your EC’s are good, but there aren’t that many. It might play a role in some of the tougher schools. I really do hope this helps!
So you did say that you were chancing others right? Well if that’s the case then i would greatly appreciate your opinions!

I am currently attending Loyola University in Maryland as a freshman and I absolutely need to get out of here. I applied to the University of CT and I’m freaking out now bc i cannot be here for another semester.
So anyways, here are my stats.
High School: 3.99 GPA. 4 APs and the rest are honors. I was in National Honor Society and I had a lot of EC’s but they don’t look at those too much. My midterm grades here were A-, B+,B+, B, and a C+. My SATs weren’t too hot. I think i got like 1120. I’m also a CT resident. If you can give me some perspective on what my chances are, I’d appreciate it! Thanks!

BU 80%
BC 35%
Georgetown 10%
American: 70%
UVA: 8% [OOS]

BU-in
BC-a bit high
American-in
Others-reaches

Chance me, im 1 thread below yours. “what are my chances” (dont know how to add link haha)

I think you have a great shot at all of them except UVA and georgetown. Your SAT scores are a little low for those, and you aren’t a val. However, the German hook might prove itself to be incredibly useful, so you never know. Also your EC’s sound amazing.
