So happy for Max Duggan. Guy has been so good all season, including against my team! Glad a Big 12 team made it to the championship.
Go Bucks!
Great semifinal games!
The only time that I’ll be a Dawgs fan. Phew disaster avoided.
Very stressful game! But how bout them Dawgs!!!
Right?! Kirby is not improving on the clock management! Like wth?!
You don’t enjoy giving one of the best college QB’s a little extra time by scoring quickly at the end of the game so the other team can beat you with a last minute FG? Come on!
Now I’m going to google where TCU is located in the US, I assume TX, and then root for them next Monday.
ETA: Fort Worth? (jk)
If Blake Corum had been healthy, then Mullings wouldn’t have been converted to a RB, and thus he wouldn’t have been in the game to fumble at the 1-yard line. Ugh.
Thank goodness I didn’t get tix for that game. Oy!
The best semifinal games in College Football history!! I couldn’t even watch the end of the Georgia/Ohio State game. Thankfully, my teams won!! Go SEC!!!
Georgia is going to stomp TCU.
Michigan underestimated TCU and seemed slow - especially at the skill positions. I dont think TCU will be able to run against that Georgia DL and they wont be able to pass protect Duggan as well as Ohio State.
Georgia has a more balanced offense where Michigan had to rely too much on Cade McNamara (without top level WR’s). Even then, Michigan was still able to put up monstrous yards and score 45 points.
Georgia should dominate the LOS on both sides of the ball. They just need to keep a spy on Duggan and put Ringo on Quentin Johnson.
Hey, that’s my hometown!!!
If you say so, but I’m here to tell you that people have underestimated Duggan and TCU all year long. How many teams start the season unranked only to play in the natl championship?
Just an FYI, but Cade McNamara transferred to Iowa. JJ McCarthy has been the starting QB at Michigan since about Game 3, IIRC.
My bad. wrong QB.
I still think the result will be the same. Georgia by at least 2 TDs
I feel for McCarthy – the two pick-sixes and fumble on the TCU goal line sunk the wolverines. Those mistakes were uncharacteristic. It’s hard enough to beat a good team if you play clean; you can’t give them 21 points like that.
Ohio State gave it all, and led almost the entire game. Losing Harrison late in the game hurt them.
From your mouth to God’s ears.
Ohio State outplayed UGA. Period. I’m a Dawgs fan and will take the W and another chance at the Natty, but the Dawgs will have to bring a different game Jan 9.
Not to mention the stupid trick play attempt also at the goal line. Two drives near the goal line and ZERO points. Just an error-filled game.
It’s only the 2nd quarter, but USC appears to be overwhelming Tulane.
Rumors that Broncos are interested in Jim Harbaugh.
Who knows if true.
Likely true - any team needing a coach would want someone who is proven at both levels.
But after last year’s fiasco, he’ll lose all credibility to even entertain the notion.
After the Urban Meyer and Matt Rhule fiascos, not to mention K Klingsbury, I’m not sure any team will run to the college ranks unless that coach has an NFL background. Harbaugh is the exception, of course, given his NFL pedigree.
