I would say don't be surprised if Charlie Weis comes up with a tactic that he learned under Bill Belichik, that we have never seen before. SHock and awe! ND will prevail!

I am not feeling so confident about the game, but that may be because I just watched my Broncos lose to the 49ers when all they had to do was win to make the playoffs. I think it will be closer than people think, but across the board (I am sorry to say) LSU has better talent and that, along with the hometown fans, will make the difference. Let's hope I am wrong shall we :).

Notre Dame doesn't have a chance, they have no speed. LSU is superior in every aspect of the game. They shouldn't even show up and save the embarassment of losing in a blowout. To score would be a miracle for these guys. The Irish defense looks like a pop warner team compared to the LSU defense. As long as the LSU bus makes it to the Superdome, the Irish are doomed.

^ Seriously, what the F**K?! This is all I've heard every day of every week since we've been invited to that game. If you think that LSU will win, say so. But don't embarass yourself by uncautiously spitting out your bias on national television. This pretty much goes for any reporter that has touched on this game.

Jamarcus is big. The LSU defense is fast. LSU has three good recievers.

^ Does this make them gods? No.

If we win I don't care what it takes to talk to Mark May, I'm getting in contact with his @$$ so I can yell at him for the amount of time he ragged on my Irish.

ya Ryan I totally agree...... but thank god Lou Holtz always ALWAYS has our back

LSU is fast, very fast

I think it will be a close game, maybe not as close as the fiesta bowl last night ( best game I have ever seen in person in my entire life- it was amaaazing--) but close

Honestly I think it comes down to our defense .... if we can stop jamarcus from throwing the ball 60 + yards down the field I think we can stay in it

Like Meow said -LSU wins on paper- but last time I checked paper dont mean ****

My favorite lines from the victory march

What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all

Weve been underdogs before, and we have won before

I know ND will put up a fight with this being the last game for many players, I hope Brady will play up to his talent level. He is amazing to watch and in real life the guy is a monster! Hopefully the team will have many fans to cheer them on to victory. But aren't you guys happy Michigan lost? I mean I don't like USC but I hate Michigan.

Happy Michigan lost? Does that not infer that we were happy that USC won? No Notre Dame fan will say they are happy anyone won that game. That game made me sick. Two rivals, and they can't even score a touchdown in the first half to make it interesting. Plus that vomit-inducing 10 note excuse for a cheer song that plays after EVERY two yard gain (is it that the entire USC band is blind, or do they just think the shades make them look cool, even at night time?).

Anyways, was it like rivals night on espn or something? Mark May gave a sticker to Penn St, and Lou Holtz gave one to USC. Weird.

Did anyone watch the LSU-Arkansas game, or any LSU game for that matter? I still have yet to see what makes them so over-the-top better than us. Their DBs got burned, offense couldn't produce some of the time. Someone explain to me the reason they are expected to beat us by 100 points.

Damn you must be spendin some money already this year.

Sure they have good DBs. Darius will be happy to screen the hell out of em. Nothin they can do when they're being the defensive gods they are made out to be twenty yards down the field.

I'm not saying they are bad. They are really good. All I'm saying is that the media has portrayed them as these unstoppable beasts, and they aren't. That is why they have two losses.

Put very simply, if the Irish can run the ball, we will win. If not, then we will lose. LSU being the hometown favorite should have some impact, but Irish fans travel very, very well so it should be about 55-45.

The royal We. Haha as in ND. Dad was an alumnus there so I know plenty about ND football, be glad to school you in a couple areas if you would like me to...o0o0o0o haha jk.

Nah hopefully Florida can school you for us.

Look at these comments from LSU WR Dwayne Bowe:
"I won't say they're slow," Bowe said of the Irish. "They're big up front. But welcome to the SEC. We're much faster."

And ...

"We have speed and size (advantages) over them," he said. "Their cornerbacks are very little."

And ...

"I just want to win. It can be by 30 or 40."
There has been a lot of smack talk from the LSU players through the media. Anyone see that offensive lineman running his mouth? Makes me mad.

If Zibby runs a punt return back and outruns the LSU coverage team, I want someone to walk right up to Dwayne and scream in his face, "WELCOME TO NOTRE DAME __________!!" You can decide what goes in the blank.

We were in it for a while but we just don't have the athletes on defense to hang with LSU and our receivers on offense don't have the speed. Still, our offense should be doing far better than 14 points so far. Right now I blame the offense more than the defense actually.
