Shout out to the Hokies for a nice win at their home opener! They looked much better than last week’s debacle! We’ll take every win they can get with a new coach and many new players.
Fingers crossed for next week as we’ll be at the game for parents’ weekend!

Florida D looked amazing but they can’t play 60 minutes. My Gators have always been head cases; it’s something in the water down in the swamp.

Three Sun Belt wins over Power 5 opponents, including two in the Top 10, and more made an exciting Saturday of football.

I feel so bad for the new ND coach. People are already calling for him to be fired, ugh that was an ugly loss.

Georgia State almost upset UNC.
I’ll be interested to see how they stack up against more formidable opponents. They’ve got to play ND (not so worried there anymore), Miami, Pitt & NC State (also, VT embarrassed them last year). Let’s see how those go. Drake Maye is looking great, but the defense…

Looks like Michigan has a real quarterback. I feel bad for Cade actually but JJ has grown and just on another level. I listened to his football private coach on Friday on a podcast and he actually pretty much predicted what we all saw. But like to see this in games against decent teams. The next several games should all be pretty much the same.

My dad was excited that Oregon State ( his alma mater) beat Fresno State! It sounds like it was an exciting game, although it was too late for us to watch on the East Coast.
Losing to Georgia Southern was the last straw. Nebraska coach Scott Frost, who was already on the hot seat, gets fired.
I predict Alabama will go to the playoffs…again.
