TO CURRENT STUDENTS (NOT PARENTS OR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS):
Would you choose Villanova again?
On a scale of one to ten, how accurate is the phrase "Villa-no-fun" (10 being most accurate)?
How aesthetically appealing is the campus and surrounding area?
Is the student body friendly?

Yes, though that’s a difficult question because I never experienced life at other colleges. But yes, I’m happy with my choice.

2/3… there’s always things to do on weekends.

The surrounding area (Wayne, Bryn Mawr, etc.) is beautiful… very wealthy areas. The campus itself might not be as pretty as others, but it definitely isn’t ugly. However, if you were going to a school based on appearance alone, Villanova wouldn’t be your ideal choice.

Yes, and it’s very easy to meet people in classes and clubs.

Bump
It would be great to hear more comments from other students

Hard to say because as stated above I don’t know what other colleges are like. Sometimes I want to say no though but that would just be to try something different. Not as a bad reflection on Villanova.

5. There are things to do if you look hard enough especially if you join greek life.

The campus is nice and the surrounding area is even nicer.

Yes for the most part. Def some not so friendly b!itchy people though.

yes! the teachers/class sizes are perfect and its a legit education.lots to do and youll ahve really good connections for networking and such after you graduate

personally id say a 1 as in not true at all. i go out every single thursday friday and saturday. and am usually out the other days of the week too. basketball games are a **** show at the wach center so much fun. and its not just frats sports teams throw parties all the time, too.
3.i think campus is gorgeous in the sense of the stone buildings. but the rando styling of buildings like say, alumni is jsut strange…lol but the surrounding area is really safe and nice as well…great bars on the main line and plenty to do
4.everyone is so nice its really easy to meet people at parties and talk to people in classes you just have to be willing to put yourself out there

hope this helps im a junior by the wayyy

Thanks everyone. I am in King of Prussia now for the early action candidates weekend.
Would a car be advantageous to have for next year?
Are people attempting to find room mates this weekend or at orientation to avoid random selection?

Regarding :
“Would a car be advantageous to have for next year?”

Freshman and sophs are not allowed cars on campus , with the limited parking.

1.100% yes, im very glad i chose here over somewhere else for many reasons
2. 2/3, its what you make of it, but one really has to try to not do something on a weekend
3.very nice area and campus
4.for the most part everyone is friendly, meeting people is not hard, but like everywhere there are some cliques

wrt the car situation, yes it does suck not having a car here but as with any rule, there are ways around it im sure you can figure something out if you really need to

to defeat… the huns.

yes.

so i came back this morning at 4am from a st patty’s party. really, if you wanna do some partying… you’ll get to do some partying. if you don’t want to, you won’t ever be forced to.

i don’t lock my door anymore. there’s no point.

depends on your personality past first year but all the freshman are trying to meet everyone so no worries
