Hahhahha. Don't be so down on yourself ;) Best of luck. Don't worry too much. USC first choice?

Pretty much, yeah. =/ Because I don't expect to get into Columbia or Yale. xD I knew when I was applying I wouldn't get in, but I felt I should apply anyway or else I'd always wonder what if, you know? Don't let me down USC. DX

Haha i love that face you make: DX. As opposed to XD =P. Good luck. We'll all need it. hopefully i'lll see you at USC as class of 2012.

Yeah and then you can hear me cry out, "Maldicion!" quite frequently. ^_^

hahah to be honest i have no idea what that means. i'm just an asian boy.

Oh really? What nationality moit?

I'm American by passport. But Taiwanese/Chinese by blood :). Been in Asia for a while now.

Hi five. Chinese blood too. Family's from south Taiwan. :)

It means "Curses!" I picked it up after watching El Beso Del Vampiro (The Kiss of the Vampire) one summer. It was a good novela. Never saw how it ended, though. =/

Ahahah Maldicion. Nice. Perhaps I'll start using that word too.

Arch: Australian Taiwanese/Chinese by blood. Awesomee! Where in Aussieland you from?

Brisbane. It's the best place by far. Beaches all around and warm weather everywhere. It's just technologically backward though compared to Sydney and Melbourne. :( Great place to raise a family, but.

hahahah I've been to both those places. Melbourne was beautiful. Sydney can't remember much, I remember I loved it though. Great place to be, Australia. You don't see many Aussies applying to SC =P

Never been there. I've only been to Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala. =/

Melbourne's too cold for my tastes. Never liked Sydney personally but it probably had something to do with the interstate rivalry haha.

I wanna visit Mexico! (And Iran before USA screws it over too :()

never been to Australia but i love the idea of australia. Everyone there seems so nice and friendly....no to mention hot babes lol! although i really shouldnt go there, cuz i'll never leave.
I really cant say this aloud here in India cuz i'd be grilled over this stupid cricket rivalry we have ......i dun even like cricket

No mail from USC to my son in Texas today. Sorry to say, I'm expecting a thin envelope tomorrow. Priority mail to me should have arrived by today. Good luck to everyone else!

Aussies are really racist though. Still, it's not THAT bad considering we never had any civil rights movements or anythings. It probably doesn't show with adults but when you grow up here you know it's indocrinated in them from youth and they simply don't often display racism openly when they get older.

Don't lose hope yet curious1. Best of luck to your son. Things don't always follow regulations and the system. Just wait and see. You never know.

Iv never really thought of Australia as racist....i think the whole cricket thing was MASSIVELY overblown. I mean i know so many colored people living there and they love it.

Cronulla is just one example.

Of course you don't usually get bashed walking down the street if you're an ethnic but trust me, go through high school like I did and you will change your mind.

However, I have found my state school friends to be less racist than those from my school which is a predominantly white private school.
