Let's not talk about grades or exams for a moment...Dating.

^Sometimes that could fail, if a less awkward guy found you. :/

I think there is some merit in dating in high school. Even though relationships won’t always last for that long, they function as a way to gain life experience and perhaps make lasting friends. I have an ex boyfriend who was three years older that I met at our summer internship and even though he left for college last September I still feel free to call him with any questions about work or school. I think that relationship changed us both for the better and I got to know someone I would have never been that close with otherwise…

But I think not dating in high school is just as valuable. Why waste your time when there is no one you are really interested in?

Honestly, I think it just depends on the person you want to be involved with. Just my $.02 :)

It seems like I can only ever get close to someone when I’m away from my hs. It’s such a small town, so everyone knows everyone, and has since like 5th grade. People have these preconceived notions about who I am and how I act, so it’s impossible to get a date. When I go away somewhere though, it’s completely different. I can’t wait to go away this summer. :)

Oh. Not sure I understand exactly…

haha I feel like ppl assume they’re more awkward than they actually are :P

I don’t know if people should be so skeptical about high school relationships, some do actually last. I guess if they are two people who don’t go all over the top with their romance and make things really dramatic (that is just fail), then it could last. Also if they are good friends, then they can be friends throughout HS and marry later on in their 20s.
Well, I say this because I know people who have had this happen.
And no I’m not really obsessive with my teenage boyfriend, because I. Don’t. Have. One.
However, I think college relationships are the ones that have a high chance of lasting.

There’s this gross couple in my spanish class always doing some sort of pda…I cant wait for the teacher to kick em out
