So a post on the Midd forum about recruiting for water polo-a club sport, but very serious at Midd-both men and women have gone to Nationals- got me thinking and I wondered what experience the forum members have on this topic.
Worth mentioning? Any pull?
Midd has several club teams I am familiar with, and they really take significant commitment, travel frequently, and compete with worthy opponents. Advantages are the ability to walk on and work one's way up with both merit and time commitment, and alll the fun and cameraderie of a college sport.

Fencing

The United States Association of Collegiate Fencing Clubs (USACFC) is a non-profit corporation that, among other things, puts on the largest annual collegiate club fencing event in the world. In many cases the club fencing teams also participate against D1, D2 & D3 fencing teams that participate in the annual NCAA fencing championships.

So, there are many opportunities to incorporate academics and sports with a little less pressure.
