Lets talk WEATHER.

Bipolar weather much? ^ LOL

Kentucky is even more bipolar than New England.

Speaking of, 90 and PM thunderstorms today. Wheeeeee. I like thunderstorms, especially when it’s hot and humid outside.

You want some bipolar weather? When I visited my future University (Appalachian State) in March, I made plans to stay for the entire day so I could explore the town and see a play that afternoon.

When I arrived on campus at 9:30 AM, it was about 40 degrees and it was raining hard.

By the time of my campus tour at 3, it was just below 60 degrees and there wasn’t a cloud in sight.

Around dinnertime at 6:45 PM, it suddenly became very, very windy.

When I exited the theatre 8:30 PM after seeing the play, there were snow flurries.

That’s what I’ve signed up to deal with for the next four years.

One day last year it was 85 degrees at 9 AM, and at 5 PM it was 28 and snowing. Everyone was like “Dafuq just happened?”

It’s about 100 right now which isnt too bad

Super hot right now & thunder-storming

Honest answer, because I want to lord it over y’all:

It’s 72 and sunny with a nice breeze. Yesterday it was the same. Last week was cloudy in the mid-70s. This week will be in the mid-70s and party-cloudy but mostly sunny. Most of the summer will be between 70 and 85, and when it’s in the 80s there is always a nice breeze off the ocean.

California is, at times, amazing. Though I like that it snows in MA.

I would never be able to live in a place where it doesn’t snow in the winter, it wouldn’t feel right. This winter we got very little snow and I was disappointed.

^ Talk about it. Cambridge didn’t even get real snow except on Thanksgiving — when I was in California! All I got was rain and hail.

But yeah, that’s the advantage of living in a place with seasons during the Spring, Fall, and Winter, and then a place with complete mildness all summer.

I need snow and rain and I can’t stand the sun. So this cold (59!) summer is totally working for me, and I’m going even further North in July.

It got dark and cloudy all of a sudden.

Hee…the thunderstorms are a-coming!

Elleya, same here. It got really dark and then BOOM, power went out for a few seconds.

O_O

Same here too, I think the storm will be here in about 10 minutes. Which is a little weird as I don’t exactly live near you guys…

LOL, we were talking about yesterday night. But yeah, rain! Maybe it teleported across the Atlantic and BAM, it got to the UK ;D

Yup, had some nice rain and some thunderstorms.

When I went outside, if it wasn’t so humid it would’ve been a little chilly. And today is down in the low 80’s, thank goodness.

Rain cancelled a swimming race I was supposed to be doing in the river Thames tomorrow morning, the current got to strong so nobody would be able to finish :frowning:
On the plus side, I no longer have to get up at 2.30am to be in the water at 4

Yesterday’s thunderstorm in NYC- shiver. That thunder was so loud…

The power went out this morning. It’s sunny. -____- Eff you TVA.

I want rain! Highs of 95 in SC this week. So humid.
