I was waitlisted to Penn State back in February, but I had not written them a letter yet due to some financial issues. It seems like my parents are willing to pay the OOS tuition now. I was wondering how I should start the email off and what to include in it. Also, who should I send it to? The general admissions email address or anyone specific? UP is my first choice college and I would love to attend if I get admitted.

Bumpppp?

Usually when you are waitlisted you are asked to accept or decline a place on the waitlist by a certain date…do you remember doing this? If yes, did they ask you to send a letter or updated stats or grades?

I got a letter, but I don’t think it said anything about accepting it. No, they didn’t ask for any additional information, but a lot of other people seem to be contacting penn state to be reconsidered.

PSU hasn’t used a waitlist in a while, so information on how they deal with it is kind of light. At a school like PSU though, sending them a letter of interest probably isnt worthwhile

Is there nothing I can do then?
