<p>Seeing a lot of you post about sending in a letter of continued interest worries me, as I didn't really think that it was necessary. I had an additional letter of rec sent in, and the coach recruiting me is vying for my acceptance as well, but I guess I never really thought to send this letter of interest. Do you think it will hurt my chances of getting admitted?</p>

<p>A letter telling Georgetown that even though you were deferred, you are still interested, and updating them about your activities, awards, etc. I think it can't hurt. But it apparently should get to them ASAP.</p>
