Letter of Rec Hard Deadline?

Hi CC users,

I am applying to Bowdoin under the regular decision program and have submitted my app, all that shizzaz. Except I have one teacher who has STILL NOT submitted his letter!!! I already have two teachers who have, but one of them is not a core academic subject teacher (she is in charge of ASB), so I’m unsure whether or not that these two letters make the cut. Is there any hard deadline for letter of recs for Bowdoin of which once past, the letter won’t be considered in the evaluation? He said he’ll have it in before the end of the month, which I hope is ok because that’s when ED2 decisions are being pondered (I hope). Any advice/answers would be greatly appreciated!!!

My S is a senior at Bowdoin, so he applied (ED) several years ago now. He had a problem with one of his letters of recommendation - first it was a few days late, then we experienced technical difficulties with our school district’s internet blocking external sites. So it was even later. And due to teacher retirements he had a hard time finding core subject recommendations so one of his two was from his choir teacher.
