<p>On the Common App it only says I can get letters of recommendation from teachers and not coaches; however, I think the coaching letter of recommendation would be the best for me. Is it possible for me to "sneak" in a coach letter and just submit it as a teacher? Because this coach is also a Spanish teacher, but I'd rather have her talk about my leadership in debate instead of in Spanish class.</p>
<p>If you feel strongly about the coach’s letter, you could email your regional USC admissions rep and ask if it would be acceptable to submit, and if so, whether they prefer it done through the Common App or mailed/emailed to the admissions office directly. I suggest reading the admissions blog on the USC website, as they address the issue of not sending in too many recommendations; they prefer quality over quantity.</p>
