<p>Hello, I'm applying to USC right now and I was wondering about the letter/report we needed. Where are the forms for it? I can't find it for some reason.</p>
<p>USC has moved to the Common Application this year and no longer has those forms available on the USC website. You print the forms out from the Common Application site.</p>
<p>I believe you can also send electronic invitations to counselors and teachers through the Common Application and eliminate the need to print the forms.</p>
<p>If there are applicants who have successfully printed the forms or sent the electronic invitations, please chime in and give some guidance to others - even if you have never posted before - we want to meet you! Thanks!</p>
<p>My child’s HS uses naviance…all the invitations are sent electronically from there (and common app link through there) and the completed recs by the faculty are stored there as well. Much easier than paper if you have this OP.</p>
<p>Hi, you can just ask your teachers to submit it online and then enter their e-mail addresses in the common app under the school forms section where it says ‘Invite Official.’ That way they don’t have to print it out (saves paper!), you don’t have to pay for postage (saves money!) & you know it won’t get lost in the mail. (:
Your guidance counselor can do the same but I know a lot of high schools don’t send transcripts electronically. If that’s the case you just print out the guidance counselor form (downloadable forms on the login page) and give it to your counselor. Then he/she will fill it out and include his/her recommendation and give it to your school bookkeeper/registrar to attach your official transcript and all that good stuff and send it off. Just make sure to give your counselor stamped & addressed envelopes to send the forms in! Most schools say not to write a return address because they will stamp it with the school’s address so universities know it’s legit.
Hope this helped! If you have any questions, let me know. I just sent this stuff in a few weeks ago.</p>
<p>recommendations are only recommended, not required.</p>
<p>
I would strongly recommend that applicants who wish to be accepted do as USC asks and submit a letter of recommendation:
[Freshman</a> Standards - USC Undergraduate Admission](<a href=“http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/fresh_standards.html]Freshman”>http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply/fresh_standards.html)</p>
<p>Good luck.</p>
