How are transfers supposed to mail recommendation letters from professors?

There is a form provided by the common app, but does the professor mail it to USC or do I?

Any help is appreciated!

Good question and one I’m also interested in.

USC wasn’t on the common app when I applied so I’m not sure if it’s changed, but isn’t there an option for the professor to upload it directly to common app? Alternatively, when I applied, I mailed mine directly to USC; I had the professors sign the envelope seals to prove I hadn’t read the letters and I put them all in one big manila envelope. You could also put a stamp and USC’s address on an envelope for the professor and ask them to mail it, or have them give you the sealed envelope and put your own stamp on it, etc.

If there’s a form that you have to download and fill out (like if a school asks the professor specifically to evaluate a student on a scale of 1-10 in terms of responsibility, dedication, etc) then you would give that to the professor to fill out and ask them to put it in the envelope with the letter.
