Letter of Recs USC

Hey guys! Is sending 5 letter of recs too many for USC?
1 from counselor
2 from previous employers
2 from school teachers

or should I send 1 from the school teacher and 2 from previous employers, and one from counselor? (total of 4)

Or is 2 from school teachers "better" than 2 from previous employers?

Thanks guys. Any nice suggestions would be appreciated :)
Fight on!

Wow, that’s a lot of letters… Don’t they only ask for one?

The easiest way to “overreach” is to send a lot more than the school asked for. They are scanning through 50,000+ applications and honestly - they don’t have time to read all that extra stuff. One thing my own college watches for is how well students follow instructions. The ones who send a lot of other stuff tend to be easy to decline.

Only what they asked for. Period. Usually teacher and school recommendations/reports.

No college really cares abotu past employers. afaik.
