Hello! I was just wondering if UChicago, UVA, Georgetown, Swarthmore, Brown, Cornell, & UPenn require letters of recommendation to be from junior and senior year teachers, or if some freshman and sophomore teachers are fine. Since many of them require more than 1 letter, the other teacher is a junior or senior year teacher. I also participate in clubs sponsored by those freshman and sophomore year teachers, so I still interact with them consistently. It also doesn’t specify on their website whether or not they require only junior and senior year teachers. Is that fine? Thanks!
This should be part of your preliminary research and due diligence because schools will tell you what they want. I am not going to do this work for you, but I will tell you that Georgetown specifically states that your recommendation letter come either a junior or senior year teacher
