1) Is it okay to ask teachers from your 10th grade to write my letters of recommendation? I moved school in my junior year, and am not as close to the teachers than I am with my 9th and 10th grade teachers...

2) Is it better to have as many letters of recommendations as possible? Like reaching the maximum number the colleges allow you to send?

3) In the "others" section, can you ask your parents (who do volunteer work and have supervised my extracurricular activities and service hours) to write me a recommendation letter?

It’s ‘okay’ as long as you have other letters from a more recent teacher, preferably one who has taught you a higher level class in your chosen area of interest.

Don’t exceed the number allowed by the college, but sending the max they accept is fine, if you feel they add value.

A letter from your parents will have no value for the college I’m afraid. One idea could be to have your parents write a letter talking about your role in the ECs for the teacher or guidance counselor who is writing your reccs. The counselor can incorporate some of the points into their letter, to give it more credibility.
