The Commonapp only lets you mail them in right? At least that's what I have heard for the past years and it still seems to be like that.

I am wondering what address to send them to. Is it usually just the normal undergraduate admissions office? I know some schools have transfer admissions offices that I would assume are kind of separate from the normal admissions office. For example Cornell lists a separate office specifically for transfer students but then Stanford just uses their normal admissions office for transfer students but then it also says "Transfer Applicant" on the mailing label.

Or does it even matter? I know Cornell even says to write down "transfer application" on the envelope but I don't see this for any other schools I am applying to. So why would Cornell want this but not any other schools? Or would it be best to write that it is a transfer application on the envelope if it is simply addressed to the undergraduate admissions office, even if they don't specifically say to?
