When I start asking people for letters of recommendation to include in my Senator and Congressman Nominations, should I have them mail the recommendations separately or with the other forms I send them?

You should look for specific instructions from each nominating source. If I recall correctly, we received sealed envelopes signed across the back to mail in with the entire packet.

Recommendation letters need to be submitted in accordance with the specific instructions provided by each MOC. In my daughter's case, both Senator's will only accept a complete nomination application from a candidate to include the sealed letters of recommendation. Our Congresswoman will accept piece-meal submissions.

My daughter went through her high school guidance office since official transcripts were required. Her school's policy is to mail the transcripts - they don't give them to the kids.
She brought in all her nomination application pieces, including sealed letters of recommendations (from those who are not teachers) and the entire package was sent out from the high school office.
It is alot easier on the MOC's office if everything arrives in one package.
