Do any colleges (UCs and IVYs) require more than 2 letters of rec?

None of the Ivies require more than two for general admission. But it may change for the specific college within the university that you are applying to.

can you send more than 2 letters?

Go on the school admissions website, or just Google it, because each school is different. In fact, for the UCs (at least berkeley- I’m not too sure about the others), they don’t even read any recommendations letters that you submit.

"can you send more than 2 letters? " In general, colleges say send only what they ask for. Some colleges aren’t as strict and will allow for a third “supplemental” rec letter. The cavaet for the sender is this LoR should only be sent if it depicts something new that is not captured in the teacher LoRs. When used, students have sent supplemental LoRs from coaches, bosses, mentors, etc.

NEVER be that dimwit who sends in 5 or 6 LoRs that attests to your “character” and “work ethic” that all repeat the same thing. And follow @shalooky 's advice. MANY colleges require ZERO LoRs. Obey that.
