Letters to colleges not attending

For all of us who were accepted to more than just Georgetown, how shall we notify the other colleges of our intentions to attend Georgetown? i.e. by email, phone call, letter in the mail, or nothing at all (let them suffer lol)

Um, isn't there a box to check saying "No thanks, I'll be attending _______" on all of your intent forms for other schools?

do we have to send them?

i sent most of mine because they were self-addressed and stamped and easy...but i accidently threw out the one for GeorgeWashington...woops.

Even if there is no form, I would just send a short note to the admissions office. It makes things easier for them and may open spots for those on the waiting lists...

Is there a form to send to Georgetown to decline the offer of admission? I can only find the "enroll agreement form" but there doesn't seem to be any place on there to note if we will not be attending georgetown...am I missing something?

You can send those forms back that have check marks that say "decline to enroll" if you wish, however this is merely a courtesy. If the colleges do not receive your confirmation by May 1st, then they assume you will not be attending and make no more of it.

You are not missing anything, Georgetown didn't provide a form on which to decline the offer of admission. I guess in the end it really is a matter of personal preference.
