Does anyone know when students received their letters last year??!!

Last year most people hear repreated hearing back around March 30th through about April 2nd. Or at least that general ballpark. You still have over a month to wait.

GAH right during spring break

right before senior trip/spring break. :(

why is that bad? if you get in, you'll be happy. if you don't, you'll have something to take your mind off of it.

for EA we were supposed to get letters on the 15th but i didn't get mine til the 17th (but 16th was a sunday) if that is any indication.

I didn't get mine 'till the 18th.

Yeah, Officially RD is supposed to get them around April 1st. But I would guess the RD schedule is less crammed (i.e. more than a month's turnaround time), so its no surprise that RD decisions get out more on time.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "letters" but if you are talking about likely letters, Georgetown does not send them out. No one is given advanced notice of a possible acceptance. You will have to wait until around April 1st when they release all of the decisions. I don't really know why Gtown doesn't give out likely letters given that comparable schools like Duke do...but oh well. Hope that helps.

I think the OP was talking about acceptance letters. If you look at some past posts, that's when the acceptance letters started coming. It does depend on your location, however; I didn't get my EA letter until the 21st. Yet another drawback of life in South Dakota.

xmobile, I believe they are talking about RD notification letters, not likely letters. But I see how you're thinking, with talk of likely letters all over the boards on CC

wow, you guys have spring break late. ours is in midmarch this year... speeds up the time to acceptance/rejection letters!

of course, this also means i have to go visit a couple schools that i will likely be rejected from right when they're deciding...
