when do we hear about acceptances to georgetown and how?
thanks!

Although it's well-documented elsewhere, you guys will receive letters (there is no way to get decisions electronically) on or around April 1st. Depending on where you live, it could be a little earlier or later.

What will the acceptance envelope look like? Something with a big red bow and bells and whistles????

I think it actually may be small. I only applied RA but my friend got in EA and said he thought he was rejected when he saw the size of the envelope.

why don't they have electronic decisions... it's so nervewracking just waiting for another 2 months. Will they send out emails or letters or whatever soon saying whether we're missing anything?

I don't think you get anything from them unless you are missing something. A little note saying we are reviewing your app would be nice.

No, I don't think the RD acceptance letters will be all that small. The EA letters were (only three sheets), but we have been getting stuff (invites to campus weekends, etc.) since December, and they will probably send that information with your acceptance letters.

neobahamut31,
Admissions letters will be mailed to arrive at your house on April 1st. They will probably be small, since the Admissions office has to transfer the names and addresses of all accepted students to the various departments that will then contact you with a barrage of emails and paper "goods" after you receive your notification.

Be prepared for a small letter either way (accept/reject) and good luck!
