Is it just me, or does it seem like most of the people who received letters today were accepted/waitlisted? The pattern certainly doesn't seem geographical.

That would suggest that those of us waiting (save applicants in HI) should perhaps gets ready for rejections.

PS Congrats to those you who already received good news :) Vandy is awesome

I understand your worriment but that wouldn’t make any sense logically for vanderbilt to do that. I’d be more inclined to believe that the post office just sucks than to believe vandy purposely sent their rejection letters a day later.

Vandy acceptance packages were sent in priority mail envelopes, so it is conceivable that only accepted people got them today. Not sure what rejected was sent in, but I got accepted and two other girls in my town got nothing today.

yeah, i agree with the above post. a guy in my town in south carolina got an acceptance letter today, while i got nothing. but i have a friend in louisiana who received a rejection letter today. i see no pattern AT ALL between that.

I wouldn’t count anybody out just yet. In the other thread I saw a few people in more northern parts of IL/the Midwest who got both acceptances and rejection letters, but I got nothing at all today in south/central IL. So I don’t know what’s going on, but I see no pattern.
