How gay friendly is BU?

I’ve heard it’s above average, but that’s just what I’ve heard.

Cool I’m gay! You don’t go to BU?

Haha, actually it’s extremely LGBT friendly. I go to BU, and the LGBT population is huge haha. Since the female population is much higher than the male population, most girls cry about being single because the guys are normally taken and if they aren’t they are gay =P! And there are a few LGBT frats and sororities and stuff that I know of.

Aww that’s so cool I’m a guy…I would love it there

There was a online BUToday article done a couple years back called “LGBT Voices” Here is a link: [LGBT Voices | BU Today | Boston University](http://www.bu.edu/today/2010/lgbt-voices/)

It features life stories from BU’s LGBT community.

There are a lot of gay people and it is VERY gay friendly. I’m straight myself but have a lot of gay friends and love them all.

LaLaz1000 has it right. People joke that BU is 60% female, 20% straight men and 20% gay men. You have nothing to worry about, it is extremely gay friendly and there are a lot of clubs, groups, events, etc. that embrace/are for LGBT students.
