I hear LACs are better for undergrad education. But in your opinion, which one is better? Also think about job opportunities after school.

I think it really depends on the person. Well known liberal arts colleges are respected in the graduate admissions process; I wouldn’t imagine that to be a concern. Larger institutions will have more research opportunities available, however a smaller liberal arts college offers more one-on-one instruction. If you’re the type that likes small classes and having strong rapport with your teachers, go liberal arts. If you prefer studying in larger groups and don’t get easily lost in the shuffle, a larger university may be more advantageous for you.

College is what you make it. A large university has bountiful opportunities for those who have the personality to pursue them; however the more reserved often find themselves lost in the shuffle, thereby getting discouraged.

Personally, I’d go LAC without a doubt.
